The Work We Take On
Most of what we see in this part of Glendale traces back to houses built between 1943 and 2012, with a median build year around 1958. That means a lot of original one-piece doors on side-mounted torsion hardware, plus later replacements from the 70s and 80s that are now due for springs, rollers, or a full swap. When you call, it helps to know whether your door has one spring across the top or two - torsion springs are the horizontal bar over the door, extension springs run along the tracks on either side. Knowing which one lets us bring the right stock the first time instead of a second trip.
